Rail transit

I. Project Overview
KEDLE SMART built an automated automated three-dimensional warehouse for a domestic rail transit customer. It includes a stacker crane high-bay warehouse rack, a sorting system, and an AGV system. Using the three-dimensional warehouse as the core, it realizes automated material storage and distribution, supporting the co-line production of multiple vehicle models. Specific parameters are as follows:
- Single pallet cargo weight: 1000kg
- Number of storage locations: 3600
- Pallet cargo Size: 1200*1000*1000mm
- Stacker cranes: 4
- Picking carts: 100
- In/out picking stations: 2
- Vertical rotary cargo containers: 2

II. Key Technologies
- Intelligent equipment integration:
- Stacker crane and AGV collaboration: Double-column heavy-duty stacker cranes (1-ton load capacity) combined with AGVs to achieve "goods-to-person" picking, with an error rate of less than one in ten thousand.
- Digital twin and Internet of Things: Real-time inventory monitoring based on the WMS+WCS system, combined with RFID and barcode technology for full-process material tracking, and seamless docking with the MES system.
- 5G and industrial internet: The super factory is covered by a 5G network, and the AGV, robots, and conveying system are dispatched through the cloud control center to achieve transparent production processes.

III. Economic Benefits
- Cost savings:
 - Labor costs: Reduced manual picking personnel by 80%, saving more than 2.76 million yuan per year.
 - Maintenance costs: Reduced maintenance costs by 1 million yuan.
 - Equipment maintenance: Automated equipment reduces the procurement and maintenance costs of traditional forklifts, saving a total of more than 1.5 million yuan.
- Operation speed: The logistics cycle of the new energy passenger vehicle assembly line has been shortened by nearly half, and the material utilization rate has increased to 90%.
